### Buying Process

2. **Place a Bid or Buy Now**: Make an offer or purchase instantly.
3. **Pickup or Delivery**: Get it delivered to your door or arrange a local pickup.

### Selling Process

1. **List Your Item**: Create a listing with quality photos, detailed specs, and a price. Minimum 4 photos required.
2. **Sell to a Buyer**: Accept a bid or an offer.
3. **Ship or Meet Up**: Use our prepaid label to ship, or arrange a local handoff.

## Purchase Protection

### Overview

WheelPrice Purchase Protection safeguards qualifying purchases made through the platform. Buyers pay a 3% fee which covers purchase protection and payment processing.

### How Protection Works

1. **Purchase**: Shop from verified sellers. Every transaction through WheelPrice Payments is automatically protected.
2. **Receive & Inspect**: Document your delivery with photos and video. You have 72 hours after delivery to verify everything matches the listing.
3. **You're Protected**: If something's wrong, file a claim within 72 hours. Funds stay in escrow until disputes are resolved.

### What's Covered

- Items materially different from listing photos or description
- Undisclosed structural damage
- Items never delivered despite confirmed payment
- Items damaged due to poor packaging
- Seller fails to ship within 5 business days
- Missing items from your order

### What's NOT Covered

- Prohibited items
- Buyer remorse or preference changes
- Fitment errors due to buyer miscalculation
- Off-platform payments (PayPal, Venmo, cash)
- Modified or installed items after delivery
- Unverified theft claims

### Filing a Claim

1. **Report the Issue**: Within 72 hours of delivery, contact the seller through WheelPrice or reach support at info@wheelprice.com
2. **Escalation**: If unresolved after 48 hours, escalate to support with documentation (box photos, unboxing video, damage evidence)
3. **Review & Resolution**: Team reviews evidence. If approved, you receive return instructions. Refund processed after items returned and verified.

### Seller Protection

Sellers are protected against false claims when buyers modify or install items after delivery. Document your items with photos from listing through shipping. WheelPrice holds buyer payments in escrow until delivery is confirmed or 48 hours pass without dispute.

## Buying on WheelPrice

### Making an Offer

The "Make an Offer" button starts a direct conversation with the seller where you can ask questions, negotiate, or request more photos.

### Selecting Shipping Options

During checkout, choose from different delivery options:
- Standard shipping
- Expedited options
- Multiple carriers (USPS, UPS, FedEx)

### Tracking Your Package

Once shipped, receive tracking via email and push notification. Track directly from your purchase inbox with real-time updates.

### Marking Items as Received

After your items arrive:
1. Go to your purchase inbox
2. Find the transaction
3. Click "Mark as Received"

**Important**: Inspect items first and report any issues BEFORE marking as received. This triggers the seller's payout.

### Favorites

Tap the star icon on any listing to save to your favorites for easy access later.

### Search Tips

Search by: brand, model, specs (like 5x120), seller name, or keywords from the description.

### Comments

Use @ to tag users in comments. They'll receive a notification.

### Important Rules

- Stay on platform for all communications
- Off-platform communication is prohibited and may result in removal
- This protects both parties and ensures documented transactions

## Selling on WheelPrice

### Fees

- **Commission**: 7% when your item sells
- **Listing Fees**: None - you only pay if your item sells
- **Buyer Fee**: 3% (covers protection and payment processing)

### Creating a Listing

1. On desktop: Click profile photo → Create Listing
2. On mobile app: Click the sale tag icon on bottom navigation
3. Minimum 4 photos required
4. Include photos on and off the car if possible
5. Highlight any damage - transparency builds trust

### Stripe Connection

You must connect your bank account through Stripe before publishing a listing. This is a one-time setup for receiving payments.

### Changing Prices

Go to Your Listings → Find listing → Edit Listing → Pricing section → Save

### Closing Listings

Profile photo → My Listings → Select "Mark as Sold"

### Draft Listings

Incomplete listings are saved as drafts. Return anytime via Your Listings → Drafts → Edit Listing.

### What You Can Sell

- Wheels
- Wheels with tires mounted
- Automotive parts and accessories
- **Not allowed**: Standalone tires

## Auctions

### How Auctions Work (For Buyers)

1. Sign in and link a credit card to your account
2. Bid from website or mobile app
3. If a bid is placed in the final 2 minutes, auction extends by 2 minutes
4. Receive notification if outbid
5. Temporary hold placed on card to confirm bid
6. If you win, card charged automatically

### Listing for Auction (For Sellers)

Auctions are currently submission-based:
- Email info@wheelprice.com with details
- Or DM @wheelprice on Instagram
- Team reviews and responds if approved

### Auction Duration

Typically 7-14 days. Check back often for exclusive timelines and brand collaborations.

### Reserve Prices

WheelPrice currently only conducts **No Reserve auctions**. All items sell to the highest bidder regardless of final price.

## Shipping

### Getting Shipping Labels

WheelPrice provides discounted shipping labels, paid by the buyer:
1. Buyer completes purchase and selects shipping
2. You receive label via email and in transaction message thread
3. Print label, attach to box, drop off with carrier (FedEx, UPS, USPS, or DHL)

### Calculating Shipping Dimensions

- Ship each wheel in its own box (4 boxes total for a set)
- Two wheels in one box is NOT supported
- Example: 18"x10" wheel → use approximately 20"x20"x12" box
- Most wheels without tires weigh 18-25 lbs

### After Shipping

1. Drop off items with carrier
2. Go to your inbox → Open sale thread
3. Mark item as "Shipped"
4. Once buyer confirms receipt, payout triggers automatically

### Shipping Options

You can offer: local pickup only, shipping only, or both.

### Local Pickup Safety

- Meet in public places during daylight
- Police station parking lots recommended
- Always transact through the app for documentation and protection

- All payments processed through Stripe
- Bank info encrypted and handled by Stripe (not stored by WheelPrice)

### When Sellers Get Paid

Funds released after:
- Buyer confirms delivery, OR
- Automatically 48 hours after delivery (if no dispute filed)

Payouts take 1-3 business days to arrive in your bank account.

### Stripe Verification

To receive payouts:
1. Go to Account Settings
2. Click "Connect with Stripe"
3. Provide business information and banking details
4. One-time setup process

### International Users

WheelPrice is available globally. However:
- Seller payouts require a Stripe-supported country
- Must have a local bank account
- If your country/bank isn't supported, email info@wheelprice.com

## AI Fitment Assistant

### What It Is

The WheelPrice Fitment Assistant is the automotive industry's first AI-powered fitment tool. It leverages artificial intelligence to solve wheel fitment challenges for any setup.

### How to Use It

On desktop or mobile, click the floating WheelPrice logo bubble in the bottom right corner. A chat interface will appear where you can ask fitment questions.

### What You Can Ask

The more specific details you provide, the better recommendations you'll receive. Include:
- Chassis code or year/make/model
- Trim line (affects fitment on some cars)

**Example Questions:**
- What is the bolt pattern on my F80 M3?
- What specs would you recommend for an aggressive street setup for my F80 M3?
- What tire size should I run on a 19x10.5 for my F80 M3?
- What ET (offset) should I run to get a flush look?

### Providing Feedback

Rate responses with thumbs up/down. Written comments help improve future recommendations.

- Less popular chassis may have limited data

### Wheel Terms

- **Offset (ET)**: Distance from the wheel's mounting surface to the centerline. Positive offset = mounting surface toward the front of the wheel.
- **Bolt Pattern**: The diameter of the circle formed by bolt centers and number of bolts (e.g., 5x114.3 = 5 bolts on 114.3mm circle).
- **Backspacing**: Distance from mounting surface to back edge of wheel. Critical for suspension clearance.
- **Center Bore (Hub Bore)**: The center hole that fits over the vehicle's hub.
- **Hub Centric**: Wheels where center bore matches vehicle's hub diameter exactly.
- **Lug Centric**: Wheels that rely on lug nuts/bolts for centering.
- **Wheel Diameter**: Measurement across the wheel from bead seat to bead seat (in inches).
- **Wheel Width**: Measurement from inner to outer bead seat.
- **Lip**: The outer edge or flange of the wheel.
- **Deep Dish**: Wheels with pronounced inward curve creating a "deep" appearance.
- **Concave**: Wheel face that curves inward toward center.
- **Multi-piece**: Wheels made from multiple pieces bolted together (2 or 3 piece).
- **Monoblock**: Wheels cast or forged as a single piece.
- **Forged**: Manufactured by compressing heated metal under extreme pressure.
- **Cast**: Manufactured by pouring molten metal into a mold.
- **Flow Formed**: Combines casting and forging for lighter, stronger wheels.
