Forgeline

American-made forged performance since 1994

History & Overview

Forgeline Motorsports was founded in 1994 in Dayton, Ohio, at a time when the American forged wheel market was largely dominated by European brands. The founders set out to prove that American-made forged wheels could match anything imported, and they built the company around complete in-house manufacturing from the beginning. Every Forgeline wheel is designed, forged, machined, and finished under one roof in Ohio using American-sourced 6061-T6 aluminum. That vertical control over the entire process means consistent quality and fast turnaround on custom orders without relying on outside suppliers.

The GE1 Open Lug became one of Forgeline's most recognized designs, a clean open-lug monoblock that shows off its forged construction and looks at home on a road racing car or a well-built street machine. Forgeline built a particularly strong following with Corvette owners, where the brand's ability to dial in the fitment requirements of C5 through C8 platforms while offering extensive custom finish options made them the clear domestic forged choice. Mustang GT350, GT500, and Porsche communities have similarly embraced Forgeline as the preferred American-made forged option.

Forgeline wheels have accumulated race wins across IMSA, Trans-Am, World Challenge, NASA, and SCCA competition over three decades. Their motorsport credentials are built through actual race use rather than branding claims. The lineup covers both monoblock and three-piece construction, with the three-piece options allowing custom widths and offsets for builds that need something specific. A carbon+forged hybrid line pushes weight reduction further for the most demanding competition applications.

Today Forgeline occupies a distinctive position as the leading American-made custom forged wheel brand, sitting below the absolute top-tier exotic car brands in price but well above imported cast and flow formed options. They're the consistent recommendation for Corvette, Mustang, and Porsche owners who want custom forged wheels made in the USA with three decades of real motorsport backing behind them. The combination of domestic manufacturing, custom options, and genuine racing heritage is hard to find anywhere else in the American market.
